The Board of directors and the Referees Commission finaly made decission about game of the first round CJHL U19 between STS UKS Niedzwiadki MOSiR Sanok and HK Mládež Michalovce. Game was finished in 30:39 when the team staff of Michalovce call away their team from the ice, because of their discontent with referee verdicts during the game. They didn´t come back in 2 minutes so referee Katarzyna Zygmunt ended the match.

"After thoroughly reviewing the video of the match, I came to the conclusion that Zygmunt Katarzyna did not commit any serious shortcomings in her decisions. Although her assessment of fouls was quite meticulous, her verdicts during the match were in line with the rules of ice hockey, "said Vladimir Mihalik, chairman of the CJHL Referees Commission, and continued:"Since no rules (KMHL, SZHĽ, IIHF) regulate this kind of situation, it was very difficult to decide on this. We decided to keep the game result 2:2, and to both teams we added one point."

Both, the Referees Commission and the League management consider abandoning the ice to be a strong violation of the sporting behavior and a manifestation of disrespect towards its rival, referees, fans and competition itself, so even Michalovce could not remain without punishment. Board of directors punished the team staff of HK Mládež Michalovce with financial fine. In addition, if team HK Mládež Michalovce will have in the end of the season the same number of points as any other team/s, Michalovce will automatically be moved to the lower place in final ranking of the League.
