Tomorrow starts 2020/2021 CJHL FINALE TOURNAMENT U16!
6 teams will meet in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. Two best teams from Ukrainian Qualification (Dynamo Dnipro and SDUSSHOR Kharkiv), two teams from Poland Qualification (STS UKS Niedzwiadki MOSiR Sanok, JKH GKS Jastrzębie-Zdrój) and two invited teams. HC Lvi Břeclav from Czech republic and Poland national team U16. Poland select replaced HC Žalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania.
"Due to the last changes in travel restrictions of Lithuanian government, unfortunatelly, Žalgiris cannot arrived. We are happy, that we can welcome best Poland players of U16 category in our Finale tournament," explained unplanned change Peter Kločanka, CJHL director and continue, "All six teams will have the same opportunity to fight for the title "Winner" of 2020/2021 FINALE TOURNAMENT U16. We want to give sports dimension to all games in the tournament, thats why we decided that. If some of 4 qualified teams will become the Winner, will be also honoured as 2020/2021 CJHL Champion."
Opening game is scheduled on Wednesday, 11.30. Home team, JKH GKS Jastrzębie-Zdrój will challenge team Poland U16. Closing ceremony is planned on Friday, 11.45.
