Dear sports firends! 

Today it is exactly one year, since representatives of hockey clubs from Novojavorivsk, Sanok, Miskolc, Debrecen, Trebišov and Michalovce met in Michalovce to talk about creation of common international ice-hockey league. Although it was only first meeting, all clubs agreed on basic principles and conditions for this league. Therefore we could consider March, 22nd 2016 as the day of birth of Carpathian Junior Hockey League. So today we celebrate first birthday of our League!

The most difficult were first months. It was time of preparation of all necessary documents, Articles of Association, Rules and regulations of competition, to find dates for the CJHL rounds, prepare a website... The greatest thanks for the fact that all of this get done in time, belongs to league vice president, Mr. Oleg Moller and league director Peter Kločanka.

Time for the evaluating of first season of CJHL will be after last round, which will be held for a couple of days in Hungarian Debrecen. But now I can say that the first three rounds far exceeded my expectations. Organizers in Trebisov, Sanok and Novoiavorivsk prepared these events on a high sports and social level. I am sure that the final round of this season in Debrecen will be organize on the highest level as well. On this place I wouldd like to warmly invite all of you to Debrecen.

Today I would like to wish to our League all the best to its first birthday. To next years of its "life" I wish many successful seasons, number of quality games, a "healthy" sporting rivalry on ice, but also deepening of friendship between its participants. I wish her to grow, to be stronger each season and to become more and more respected.

So once again, all the best CJHL!
